The Poor Clares were onto something!

By: Mike Frost on: 05.06.06

The Poor Clares were founded in Assisi in 1212 by St Clare, a counsellor of old St Francis of Assisi himself. They were committed to the supreme Franciscan ideal of poverty, but the 'rule' of their order was simply four basic requirements:
Bless people
Eat with them
Heal the sick
Preach the gospel

That's half way to BELLS!! Seriously, it's interesting to see how similar it is to our approach. I hope you're finding lots of opportunities to bless people and to eat with them. I also hope you're bringing healing and the gospel to them.
